The biggest country of South America is Brazil. The city has a lot to offer to all travelers and this makes the country very popular with tourists. The most visited places in the country are Rio de Janeiro, Fernando de Noronha Island and Sao Paulo.
Besides these there are other places also in the country which are liked by tourists like the relaxing Salvador, the colonial towns of Olinda and Ouro Preto. If one loves to admire the natural beauty of nature they must visit the Iguacu Falls. The best time to visit the country is at the time is the carnival time and one must try and visit at that time.
The Carnival in Rio is simply out of the world. The capital of the country Brasilia is a beautiful and a well planned city.The architecture in the city is amazingly spectacular and one must see it to believe how beautiful it is.

It is not for nothing that Brazil attracts innumerable tourists from different parts of the world. There are many attractions in this part of the world. If you were to pick the top 5 events of Brazil, they would be as follows.
Carnival: Brazil and carnival go hand in hand. It takes place in the latter half of the month of February. This is the festival of lights and dance and loud music. If you like to live the life to the fullest, carnival is the place to be.
Festas juninas; it is celebrated in the month of June. This festival comprise of traditional food, local dance forms, games and costumes typical to Brazilians.
Brazilian Grand Prix: This even takes place in the month of October and attracts many speed lovers, young and old alike. Tickets sell out well before the main event.
Festa do Peão Boiadeiro: It takes place by the end of August every year. It is supposed to be the world’s largest rodeo event. This festival is a great opportunity for the fun lovers to put on the cowboy look.
Bom Jesus dos Navegantes: translated as “good Jesus of the boatmen”, this event is the traditional New Year. This event is celebrated to bless the boatmen and the navy men before they begin their long voyage.
