No visit to Japan is complete unless one visits the Kansai Cousins. Kyoto Nara Osaka are situated in Kinki province which is the heartland of old culture and politics of Japan. Although these three cities are close geographically, they are poles apart in their lifestyles and culture. Kyoto is full of ancient Japanese grace and refined mannerism, Osaka is absolutely reverse. Nara has the world’s largest wooden structure that is free standing.
