nullWhen we talk about an international vacation destination, Portugal is the first country that comes  into our minds. Some tourist attractions that are bound to pick your interest are Lagos, Evora, The Rossio, St. George’s Castle, Madeira and the Institute of Port Wine. Lagos is a town which has sandy white beaches as well as magnificent cliffs.

Evora is a walled town situated in the midst of olive trees, flowers and vineyards. The Rossio or the Praca D. Pedro IV is the heart of Lisbon and you will always find people doing something here or another. St. George’s Castle was used for defeating the invasion of Moor armies. The castle offers fantastic views of the Santuario do Cristo Rei and here, you will also find the remains of the castle cathedral which was destroyed in 1755 due to an earthquake.

Madeira is a volcanic island where you will explore forests and mountains. A Portugal visit is incomplete without trying the delicious port wine.
